Y'all know I had to indulge in some romance in February, so I dove into the Greene Sister Series by Kristina Forest!

The Neighbor Favor
The Neighbor Favor is a slow-burn, sweet book w/depth! I love that Nick is a travel writer at the start of the story because it was cool to have a character who loves getting to know people around the world. I felt for him but definitely related to Lily as an ambivert book lover.
Lily & Nick had an immediate connection which flowed into a lot of pining. A lot of the book was pining so if you love that, this is for you.
I love that the author didn’t end this story with romance. She makes sure to bring Lily and Nick resolutions in their own lives, too.

The Partner Plot
Just when I thought I knew what was gonna happen next, Kristina Forest swerved! I love that for us. Violet & Xavier are cute & annoying together. I love that the story starts w/their High School romance because it really gives us a chance to see just how much they’ve matured in their 20s.
This book also adds more beyond the romance aspect through the couple’s experience back in their hometown. Their community and friends are a bigger part of their lives than they were in the first book. I really enjoyed this story & the audiobook narrators did a fantastic job.

The Love Lyric
This might be my favorite book of the series! Iris is a classic eldest daughter; She’s always fixing things, putting on a brave face, & sacrificing her needs for others. I related with her a lot & I’m sure many of y’all will, too.
I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical of Angel in book 2 but when I started reading his perspective in this book, I felt like he was a genuinely good & sweet guy. Since he’s a musician in the public eye, they have a few similarities with Violet & Xavier’s story. I felt protective of Iris, especially since she’s a mom of a young girl, but the author gave her a beautiful arc!
